The Posy Place Flowers & Gifts opened in the summer of 1977 by Patrick Poce. The Posy Place quickly developed its niche focusing upon design, quality and service. 25 years later, we still believe in these important principles.

Patrick has been designing with flowers for more than 30 years. He has been involved in the floral industry at a local, regional and national level. He has served on several local association committees and has served as chairman of the Teleflora, Northwest Florists Association, Utah Allied Florist and FTD Association conventions.

He participated as a member of different design teams that provided spectacular floral arrangements for several national events including a White House Reception hosted by President and Mrs. Reagan, the Statue of Liberty Restoration Celebration, the Inauguration of President Clinton in 1993, and for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He has also designed for various panels in Canada, South America, and locations across the United States.

Pat is a member of the Ogden/Weber Chamber of Commerce, the Society of American Florists, the American Institute of Floral Design, and is an FTD Certified Master Designer. He has been involved with community events and volunteered for organizations such as the Utah Opera Guild, Northern Utah Hospice, Planned Parenthood of Utah, Utah AIDS Foundation, Ogden Nature Center, and Eccles Art Center in Ogden.
